Even though he doesn't look like it in the pic. He never smiles in pic's... If this had been me i would have been smiling ear to ear holding the deer in one hand and pointing at it with the other looking all goofy. I 'm a very proud momma. This was an older deer and was probably past his prime. He didn't even have any back teeth. He was huge though probably weight about 180lbs and is a 8pt shot up in Georgia.
Welp, this is my first post and it's gonna be short. I'm gonna definaty try to post more here than i did on my AOL blog. I like this better, You have more options here. I need to try to make more friends on here. I can't seem to make them here i can at least have them in my computer.
Till Next time... Take care :-)

Nice buck. I hope to be out chasing elk the first weekend in November. Wish me luck!

Very cool! He won't forget his first.
That's just the head isn't it? Congrats to your son!
What a beautiful buck for his first!!! I still remember the first time my Dad took me to field for opening day of deer season. I wish I could still get out in the fields for a hunt. Tell him I am jealous.
My Regards, Bill.
